When the movable jaw falls down, the angle between toggle plate and moving jaw becomes smaller. Under the role of the lever and spring, the movable jaw plate is separated from the fixed jaw plate and the materials that have been crushed are discharged from the crushing chamber mouth. With the continuous rotation of the motor, the movable jaw does the periodic motion to crush and discharge the materials.
The wear of the shaft is small, the lathe turning can be conducted if just in order to fix its geometry so that the journal can achieve the correct geometric shape, and then reduce the inner diameter of the bearing. But after several such kinds of treatments, the journal size is smaller than 5% of that of the original one. The turning is not allowed, but it should be replaced with new shaft.
The jaw crusher is to work under the impact load bearing and the service life of the Babbitt lining on the bearing bush is about two years. If it exceeds the deadline, there is a need to re-casting. If the eccentric shaft, the bearing bush and the spindle are worn, the top gap is greater than 1.5 times of the original assembly gap, adding the pad or replacement is available.
